TreeAZ guidance for tree consultants
Constraints report:
Before a new development layout can be finalised with proper consideration of trees, it is essential for all the trees that could be affected to be inspected and assessed by a qualified arboriculturist. This advice can be presented as a constraints report, which sets out the constraints that the best trees on the site impose and clearly defines the developable area available for the new proposals. This report is a design tool for use by the architect and is separate from the subsequent arboricultural impact appraisal report that would normally be the formal submission to the council.
